MAVO mark2 S35 is equipped with a new 6K S35 CMOS imaging sensor, its frame rate up to 96 fps at 6K Wide. Dual native ISO 800/3200 delivers clean low-light performance with 14 stops of dynamic range, providing flexible creativity and more possibilities for cinematographers.
MAVO mark2 LF inherits the remarkable full frame 3:2 CMOS imaging sensor from MAVO Edge 6K, and full frame format allows a wider viewing angle, shallower depth of field, and more immersive presence for more aesthetic expression of large format.
Both MAVO mark2 cameras adopt the MAVO Edge high-performance computing platform, integrate industry standard ports like independent dual SDI outputs, record in-camera ProRes4444XQ to NVMe M.2 SSD. With fully integrated, refined lightweight design and efficient workflow, the cameras help more cinematographers achieve a classic, efficient cinematic experience at a more affordable price.

New Mounts, More Modern Lenses
MAVO mark2 offers more comprehensive lens options by introduction of new mount, embracing the broader and more modern lenses with its interchangeable mount design. It can work smoothly with virtually all cine PL/LPL lens, DSLR EF lens and modern E mount lens, capturing images with more diversified styles.
Native KineMOUNT
The first cinema camera KineRAW-S35 launched by Kinefinity in 2012 was equipped with the short flange distance native KineMOUNT. KineMOUNT is very convenient for switching mount adapters including EF, PL and LPL adapters without tools. In addition to keeping the exclusive native KineMOUNT, MAVO mark2 provides two new lens mounts: the Active PL Mount and Active E Mount. Users can install and detach the active mounts without extra flange distance calibration.
Active PL Mount
The reliable cine-style locking mechanism enables the active PL mount to connect the lens with the camera toughly. It supports the Cooke/i protocol, recording lens metadata such as focal length, aperture, and depth of field directly into footage, bringing intuitive interaction on set and flexibility in post VFX workflows.
Active E Mount
MAVO mark2 with the Active E Mount can support most of modern and lightweight E lenses instantly. It allows users to tune the iris, focal length and focus of these electronic E lenses in camera control or manually. The lens optical stabilization can be activated if the lens has the option.

Compact and Lightweight Camera Body
Integrated Body Design
MAVO mark2 inherits the integrated body design of MAVO Edge camera which has won the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2021. The compact camera body features a host of general control ports, dual SDI outputs with embedded metadata and audio, high-quality multi-channel audio recording, timecode sync, and RS232 protocol LENS port for third-party accessories.
Comprehensive Power Solution
The MAVO mark2 offers an innovative hybrid battery plate to accommodate power demands in various shooting scenarios. It supports standard 14.8V V-mount batteries like KineBAT PD 99/200, as well as BP-U type batteries like GripBAT 4S. With the addition of Movcam KineKIT-Edge cage, NP-F550 type batteries can support an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to the camera via the UPS baseplate.
Ultra-Compact, Ultra-Light
MAVO mark2 features a high-strength aviation aluminum alloy body with highly integrated functions, yet weighs only 1.35kg (2.98lbs). It is lighter than both MAVO Edge and MAVO LF with KineBACK, making it easy to carry and suitable for a wide range of complex and dynamic shooting scenarios.
Accessories and KIT
MAVO mark2 works with the ultra-bright KineMON-5U2/7U2 touchscreen monitors perfectly. All parameters of the camera can be displayed and adjusted on the monitor intuitively and conveniently; it also supports KineEVF2 OLED Viewfinder that presents accurate and sharp color images just like using an optical viewfinder.
As of camera rigs, MAVO mark2 can be armed with Movcam KineKIT-Edge, Tilta Camera Cage for MAVO Edge, and SmallRig Camera Cage Kit for MAVO Edge. In addition, a new "Agile KIT" tailored for the elegant camera includes a new carbon fiber top handle, a 2000nits KineMON-5U2 that can rotate 360 degrees, a set of new dual-D and dual-C KineBAT99, and the safe and reliable KineMAG Nano 1TB SSD. The highly integrated MAVO mark2 with the "Agile KIT" is ready to take out and shoot right away.
